My good friend and fellow artist Photophilanthropist, will be so proud that I have finally got off my ass and finally put pen to paper... or fingers to keys as I should say. As usual, I have a million things to say, but still find it hard to write and hopefully this will get easier as I get accustomed to sharing my life out loud through my images and the stories I tell. Those of you who know me will know that one of my biggest passions in life is photography and I hope to use this blog as a reflection of myself and what I love and see through the eyes of my camera. Confucius once said... "Everything has beauty in it, but not everyone sees it. Well it just so happens that I am blessed to have the ability to see beauty in all its glory and I'm so glad that photography allows me to capture it so that I may share it for all to see...
On that note I'm going to leave you with an image of Brisbane at dawn that I took some years ago when I had a little more motivation to drag myself out of bed before sunrise. A Brisbane girl born and bred, I have a love for our city and yes, although there are many wonderful things that some of our other cities have to offer, I do believe Brisbane to be the 'prettiest' by far. Being a river city it offers some amazing photographic opportunities and I'm sure you have all at some stage, viewed it in awe from the top of the Kangaroo cliffs as I have.
